Since the law of the People's Republic of China on Domestic Violence came into effect on March 1, 2016, it has aroused great concern among women and every family in the whole society. The law was enacted to prevent and suppress domestic violence, protect the legitimate rights and interests of family members, safeguard equal, harmonious and civilized family relations and promote family harmony and social stability. As a counselor, the author received 50 complaints of domestic violence from January 2017 to April 2018, witnessing various external manifestations of domestic violence and various hidden psychological causes. Today, we try to use these 50 cases of domestic violence as a sample to conduct relevant investigations, so that the audience can see the relevant data on domestic violence, but also understand the analogy and analysis of the relevant data, not only to clarify the external causes and manifestations of domestic violence cases, but also to perceive the internal motivation and psychological "secret" of domestic violence cases, both to clarify the current management strategy, but also to update the follow-up service model. The investigation process and findings are reported as follows:
I. External manifestations of domestic violence
Domestic violence visitors are not all women
In the past, we believed that visitors to domestic violence were generally women and that victims were generally women. But in the 50 cases of domestic violence we investigated, not all visitors were women. The 48 female visitors, or 96 per cent, and the two male visitors, or 4 per cent, indicate a new change in domestic violence, with not all perpetrators being men and women also becoming domestic violence
