Glutton for punishment（8）

Soundwave woke in the next morning and found himself in an unfamiliar embrace.

He took some time to ponder what had happened to him last night and at that exact moment did the memories hit him like a meteor.

He would survive this… he mentally said to himself.

“Soundwave, why don’t you online your optics? I know that you are awake.”

That was Megatron’s voice saying above his head.

He froze. He and his lord were in this compromising position——in his berth!

“Calm, Soundwave, I didn’t mean to scare you, take it easy.” Megatron said, his voice managed to pass through the loud noise that Soundwave’s cooling fans were making.

Then Soundwave manually offline the fans again, just like what he did yesterday. And a sudden silence had replaced the his cooling fans’ white noise; it was as if the blue mech was holding his breath.

Good, he felt more embarrassed.

“Hey, don’t worry,” His lord tried to save him from this awkward situation, “Can you recall what happened yesterday?”

Yeah, of course. Soundwave gave him a simple nod. No matter how hard he tried, he wouldn’t forget the whole strange stuff.

“So tell me how do you feel now, are you okay or not?” The silver mech demanded.

He felt... good! He was warm and comfortable, although there was still a bit pain remaining in his frame, he felt it was tolerable. Megatron’s medicine was useful enough to soothe his wounds.

He was in the larger mech’s arms, covered by him like a blanket around his frame. It made him feel safe and secure. A satisfied sigh left his mouth as he couldn’t resist a stretch.

He gave his lord another nod as a positive confirmation.

That was when he found that his tentacle was still wrapping Megatron’s arm, and the silver mech didn’t untangle it, he literally allowed this connection between them the whole night.

The news almost made the telepath chirp happily.

“Glad to hear that.” Megatron chuckled with relief.

“You shouldn’t get up just yet. Your systems still need more rest to fully boot up your self-repair system, you should stay in your berth.” The silver mech advised, sounds more like a command.
