自嘲

Hey, Mark. You know, this speech I gave in Rotterdam didn't go as well as I hoped. I'm feeling really down. I've been working my tail off for this cause, trying to get people on board with defending our Dutch overseas territories, but it seems like it's all for nothing.

Let me tell you a little story to make you understand our situation. Imagine there's a shepherd trying to protect his flock from wolves. He works day and night, shouting and warning everyone, but no one seems to care or listen. They just go about their business as if there's no danger at all. Well, that's kind of how I feel right now. I'm shouting about the importance of defending our territories, but people are just not paying attention or showing any support.

I thought my speech would inspire people, make them see the urgency and the importance of what we're trying to do. But nope, not much has changed. I don't know what else to do, Mark. It's so frustrating.
