Oh my goodness, what a wild day it was! Mark and I were planning to go out. I set off first while Mark was still at home getting ready. I was walking along, minding my own business, thinking about the tasks we needed to accomplish during our outing.
The street was relatively quiet, and the sun was shining brightly. I was in a rather good mood, looking forward to the day ahead. But then, out of the blue, these two scoundrels showed up and stopped me. They had fierce looks on their faces and demanded money from me without any hesitation. Their voices were rough and threatening, making me tense up immediately.
I wasn't about to give in to them. How could I let these rogues take advantage of me? Without a second thought, I pulled out my knife to scare them off. I held the knife firmly, my eyes staring at them sharply, showing my determination not to be bullied. Their expressions changed a little when they saw the knife, but they still didn't back off completely.
Then, taking advantage of their moment of hesitation, I made a run in the opposite direction. My heart was pounding rapidly as I ran, hoping to get away from them as soon as possible. I didn't look back, just kept running until I felt I was at a safe distance.
Little did I know that poor Mark would run into those villains shortly after. I had no idea what was happening to him. I just kept moving forward, thinking that I had managed to escape the danger.
When I later found out what had happened to Mark, I felt really bad. I couldn't believe that he had suffered such an unfair treatment because of this incident. It was just such an unlucky turn of events. I blamed myself for not being able to handle the situation better and prevent Mark from encountering such misfortune. This incident made me realize that the outside world can be full of unexpected dangers, and we must always be vigilant.
