Dear people of Dutch Sint Maarten,
In this glorious autumn of 1916, I stand before you, Colonel Jacob, filled with unwavering determination and burning passion. Our beloved Netherlands has bestowed upon us the responsibility to safeguard its precious overseas territories, and here, in this beautiful land of Dutch Sint Maarten, I come to you with a resolute message.
Our overseas territories are not just land and resources; they are the embodiment of our nation's honor, our history, and our future. They are the fruits of our ancestors' hard work and the dreams of our descendants. We cannot, and we will not, allow them to be taken away or undermined.
The times we are in call for courage and unity. We must stand together, as one people, with one heart and one purpose. We must show the world that we are not afraid, that we are ready to fight for what is rightfully ours.
I call upon each and every one of you to join this noble cause. Let us raise our voices together, let our actions speak louder than words. Let us show the strength of our spirit and the depth of our love for our homeland.
We will face challenges, we will encounter obstacles, but we will not be deterred. We will use every ounce of our strength, every bit of our wisdom, to protect and defend our land.
And I want to emphasize this to you with all my heart and soul: We will fight until the very end. We will never surrender. No matter how fierce the storm, no matter how difficult the battle, we will stand firm and hold our ground.
Let us march forward together, with our heads held high and our hearts full of hope. For our homeland, for our future, for the Netherlands and its overseas territories!
Colonel Jacob
