大家好！很荣幸能在这里和大家交流、汇报，但本人水平有限，有不当之处，敬请各位领导和老师批评指正。
对于英语，我是个门外汉，没有接受过系统的课程培训，底子也很薄，所以刚开始接三个班的英语教学工作时，我感到压力很大，真的有点无从着手，尽管自己起早贪黑，忙忙碌碌的做了大量的工作，但效果不佳，同学们的成绩也不理想。付出与收获不成正比，当时我非常的苦恼，但学校英语教师紧缺，我也只好迎难而上了。
痛定思痛，我对自己做了深刻的反思，并从以下几个方面改进、开展教育教学工作。
一、通过各种渠道提升自己的英语教学水平。
学校赵校长高度重视本校英语教学，针对本校英语教师都由非专业教师担任的现状，他每学期都会想办法创造机会让我们英语组的教师走出去，观摩、学习优秀教师的`展示课，专家教师的讲座、培训等，耳濡目染，输入先进的教学方法和教育理念。每位教师每学期至少上一节公开课，开诚布公，取长补短，共同提高。
尽管本校英语教师都由非专业教师担任，但我校英语组是一
个精诚合作、锐意进取的团队。在教学中遇到的困惑我们都会查阅各种资料并及时的进行交流、探讨，资源共享，以保证自己的教学准确、高效、融会贯通。
二、优化方法，关注教学过程。
1.Let’slearn教学。
从教材的编排顺序看，每部分Let’slearn之前都有两组课前热身的内容，我让同学们利用熟悉的句型学习与此句型相关的新词汇，尽量做到“词不离句，句不离境”的教学理念。如六年级上册第一单元在学习日常活动短语之前，第一组热身以Whatdoyoudoeveryday?复习以前学习过的短语。第二组热身以Whattimedoyouusuallydosomething?复习时间的表达方法。做了充分的铺垫之后，新词汇的学习就轻松多了。在学习新词汇的过程中，我采用的方法主要有；（1)利用实物、图片、表情、动作、多媒体课件等教学词汇。（2）利用Listenanddo活动，巩固操练词汇。这种方法主要适用于动词及动词短语以及能形象表达的词汇。（3）渗透语音教学。通过大量的练习与积累，让学生掌握常见字母及字母组合在单词中的发音规律，基本做到见词能读，听音能写。
2.Let’stalk及Let’slearnmore教学.
对话是小学英语教学的重点之一，是融入核心句型和词汇的一个重要载体。在教学时我经常尝试以下方法：（1）利用身边真实的生活情景教学真实的语言。如在教授IhaveabagA部
分Let’stalk时，我指着一名学生的书包问;“Wow!Anewschoolbag!What’sinyourbag?”教师疑问的表情加上看的动作，使学生很容易就理解了这句话，对回答有困难的学生，我帮他（她）拿出一本书，如“AnEnglishbook...”并示意说出其他书和文具的名字。练习几次之后我设计了一个Guessinggame的游戏来提高学习的兴趣。比如：“Wow,Her/Hisbagisbeautiful.What’sinher/hisbag?Canyouguess?”用这种方法可以提高学生练习对话的频率，学生学习起来既轻松又有效。（2）合理利用教学资源，丰富对话教学.在课堂教学中，有时要受到时空的限制，无法把真实情景带到课堂。在这种情况下，我会运用教材配套的资源包，再现教学情境，做到声像结合，图文并茂。并在操练环节设计“我是小演员”或“我是小小配音员”等有趣的活动，以此来激发学生参与的热情，提高学习效果。（3）Let’slearnmore部分教学与阅读和作文教学相结合。六年级两册课本Let’slearnmore部分绝大多数以短文方式呈现，在初步感知文本时，我会出示相应的问题培养学生的阅读习惯。如在学习六年级上册第三单元Let’slearnmore部分短文Carefor“motherearth”时,我在白板上出示的问题是这样的：Question1:Whatbadthingsdowedotoourearth?Question2:Whatshouldwedo?
让学生带着问题听、读短文，了解短文大意，增强阅读水平。
