　　Some people are of the opinion that the environmental problem is the price we have to pay for economic development. But I do not think that this argument is valid. After all, what is the point of economic growth if people's lives are adversely alfected by worsening environmental pollution ?

　　我们每人的生活都离不开水，在洗脸的时候要用;在喝水的时候要用;甚至是在小孩子玩泼水的时候也要用……水是那么，那么的重要但是人们还是不停的在浪费水。

　　有一次，我们一家人到奶奶家去吃晚饭，我们都津津有味地吃着美味的饭菜，我吃完后，发现手特别脏，便进了洗手间去洗了把手。突然看到一个大型的脸盆正在接着从水龙头里慢慢滴下来的水，那时水已经滴了脸盆的一半了，我便立刻去问了奶奶：“奶奶，你怎么不关水龙头呢?那样很浪费水的呀!我把它关了吧!”“不用，不用。”奶奶笑着说，“那是我是故意开着的.，盛点水总是要用的呀，对吧。”我便没有说什么，过了几分钟后，我又去了一趟洗手间，我看了看里面，只见那个脸盆早就已经装满了，水都已经哗哗地扑出来了，便对奶奶说：“奶奶脸盆里的水装满了!”“那你把水龙头关一下吧。”奶奶说。我心想：在扑出来的几分钟里，也不知浪费了多少的水啊!

　　不仅是节水，我们应该多做一些环保的事情啊!
