记得姚老师说要举行一次英语考试，我心里高兴极了，老师好几次都说要发奖状，这次我一定会得奖的。老师特意留意了单词和句子，我一看太好背了，于是看了几遍，志在必得的样子，觉得明天的奖状非我莫属。
可谁知道第二天，我怀着喜悦的心情考完了试，把听写本交了上去……发本子时，只听见最前面的.都是100分，唯独没我的名字，我心里一直浮现着记单词句子时，没有什么不会的呀？听见老师喊道：“马昕宇，99分。”我羞愧地低着头跑上去拿了本子，心里有一种说不出来的滋味，就像打翻的五味瓶一样，在课堂上，我伤心的差点哭出来。
回到家，我大哭了一场，我想了想，以后必须要认真了，如果再这样粗心大意，我永远不会得到奖状了。是啊！小树只有经历风雨后，才会更坚强。但是，人们常说：虚心使人进步，骄傲使人落后！
