　　要说我敬佩的一个人，那就是我的妈妈，她长得不高也不矮，瘦瘦的，好象一阵风就会把妈妈吹倒（开个玩笑），妈妈学英语。接下来我就给你讲讲妈妈学英语的事。

　　那时我才上三年级，学校里开了英语课，每次老师说要我们回家读课文们回家读课文给家长听，可是好多地方妈妈不懂，我读错了她也不知道，而且我不会读的单词和课文也没有人帮我辅导，为这妈妈和我都很苦恼，几天以后妈妈做了个想象不到的.决定：妈妈要学—英—语。我和爸爸都不敢相信自己的耳朵。

　　妈妈说到果然做到，她先去买了许多英语教材和磁带，然后又去报了英语班。可是大多数英语班都是教小孩子的，好不容易才找到一个教成人英语的，妈妈很高兴。

　　妈妈一开始学英语很困难，爸爸劝她说：“你现在都三十多了，记忆又不好，没有年轻时的脑子好用了，反正也学不好，不如别学了。”我也劝妈妈不要那么辛苦，可妈妈就是不听，她说：“我不能半途而废，有始无终，我一定要坚持，要给璐璐做个好榜样，不是吗？”然后妈妈有接着背单词、读课文。因为妈妈基础不扎实，所以要从三年级的教材开始学。晚上我们叫妈妈睡觉了，她说：“你们先睡我过一会就睡”。我们就没管她。12点多了我起来喝水，看见妈妈还在看书就劝她早就休息，她点点头说：“再学一会”。到了第二天，我们看见妈妈的眼睛红红的肿肿的，也不知道昨天晚上几点才睡，爸爸生气的说：“你爱惜点自己的身体好不好？多大的人了，眼睛还要不要？”我也对妈妈说：“你这样是会影响上班的。”妈妈只是笑笑，照样我行我素，爸爸一生气就把妈妈报的那个英语班给退了。妈妈知道后很伤心，不理爸爸了好几天。我们以为妈妈伤心过后就不学了，但我们错了，妈妈照样坚持着，自己边学边找老师，就这样妈妈坚持了两年多，终于学会了英语，现在我的英语也有人帮我辅导了，我们能在家里进行简单的英语对话，我的英语成绩也慢慢的上升，我真为我的妈妈骄傲。

　　来到教室里，那里已经有十几位同学了，我有点紧张。一会儿，上课了，一位年轻的女教师走了进来，她笑着跟我们打招呼：“大家好，以后大家就叫我MissLin吧！”MissLin很亲切，她和我们一起唱歌、玩游戏、跳舞，还教了我们几个单词：morning、aftenrnoon、evening……我们都学得津津有味。接着，MissLin教我们做动作，把四个表示时间的`单词用手势表示出来，然后，MissLin让我和另一个人比赛，看谁的反应比较快。MissLin说：“noon”我做出了相应的动作，很愦憾，比对手慢了一点。我心想：“这次我一定不能输。”于是，我竖起耳朵，仔细地听一下单词。接着老师又分别念出“morning、aftenrnoon、evening”等单词，我立刻做出相应的动作，这几次就比对手快了一些，我终于赢了。MissLin奖给了我一块小贴纸，上面有一只可爱的小松鼠，我高兴极了。最后，我还得到老师奖给我的一只小狸猫呢！
