我的同学是不太高的个子，长长的头发，、一双炯炯有神的眼睛，一双灵巧的双手。他是谁呢？她就是我的英语组长－xx。
之所以被选为英语组长，是因为她对英语这门功课非常喜欢，而且，她的英语成绩一直都很好。
作为英语组长，她的工作责任心很强、工作效率也很高。每当老师要求收英语作业时，几乎每次她都是第一个把我们组的英语作业本交到老师手上，经常受到老师的.表扬。只是有一次，我们组有一个同学的英语课堂作业做了好长时间还没完成，这时候，席光玲就像钉子一样盯在他后面。这个同学说：“我的大组长，别跟在我后面了，你先把作业本交给老师吧，我马上就写好了，写好之后我自己交给老师。”“不行，既然选我做组长，我就要对工作负责，我们组的作业没有收齐，怎么能交给老师呢？”“好好好，别讲了，我服了你，我抓紧做就是了。”这次收作业，虽然她不是第一个把作业本交给老师的，但她并没有不高兴，因为她把我们组的作业本一本不拉地交给了老师。

The summer vacation had come round again. I was happy that I could forget about school at least for a while. Lest I fool around all through this summer vacation, I made a plan as to how to spend it.
First, I thought I should go over all those things my teachers taught in the previous term so that I could have a better understanding of them. Then I thought I should take up some forms of exercise, such as walking, running and rowing, to keep me physically strong.
It stood to reason that with such a good plan I should make the best of my vacation time. I did, because I lived up to what I had planned.
