　　My Home Town

　　My home town is a beautiful place. It stands beside a wide river and is rich in fish and rice.But in the old days it was a poor and backward little town. Many people had no work. They lived a hard life.In 1949 my hometown was liberated. Since then great changes have taken place there. The streets have been widened. Factories, schools, hospitals, cinemas and theatres have sprung up one after another. The life of the people is greatly improved.I love my hometown. All the more I love its people. They are working hard so as to make it still richer and more beautiful.

　　As time goes by, man is making the earth sick. People cut down too many trees and leave rubbish everywhere. Factories let out their waste without doing anything to it . This has caused some serious problems. Such as the land is sandy, the river is dirty, the air is less clean, even the temperature of the earth is rising.

　　What should we do to save the earth ? My suggestion is that we should plant more trees, put rubbish into dusbins and stop factories (from)pouring waste directly into the air or rivers. In all, we have only one earth, we should do our best to protect it, or we will regret.

　　我也不例外，我特别喜欢上英语课，当然喜欢英语课的另外一个原因是我的英语成绩还不错。有一天上英语晚自习的时候，英语老师组织同学们考试，先交完试卷的同学们可以自己干自己的事情，他要求同学们不要说话就行，于是我拿出一张纸，在上边画上两只小猪，用英语在旁边标注着英文两只小猪的对话，写完后我居然大胆的在纸上边用铅笔标注着英语老师的名字。当我拿着自己的杰作开心的给同桌看时，居然被我那小气的同桌给告发了。

　　我知道自己闯了祸，像一个犯了错的.罪人一样顿时立在自己的座位旁边不敢出声。还好老师给我面子，没当着全班同学的面数落我，让我和同桌跟着他去办公室谈，他让我写份检讨拿给他，可当我第二他拿给他检讨的时候他看也没看一眼，告诉我说下不为例，果真是宰相肚里能撑船，多么随和的一个人，他大人不记，我这个小人自然就好过了。
