　　在过去的几周里，我在努力的和星吧阁的多数学生家长们进行交谈。大家交流中不断提及的话题之一，就是在家中创造英文环境的问题。如今我们都听说过一些方法，比如观看英文电影、听英文歌曲等，但说起另一方法——用英文和他们的孩子对话，绝大多数的中国家长都不敢尝试。主要原因，就是担心他们这样做会在某种程度上对孩子的外语学习造成不良的影响。家长们的担心包括:

　　● 怕孩子会“感染”上他们可怕的口音

　　● 害怕自己混淆语法，或用错词语

　　想象一下，在您的孩子的大脑中，有两种知识桶。一个桶里装的是汉语，另一个桶里是英语。两桶之间，是汉语和英语的混合部分和两种语言在语调、词汇、语法和口音等方面的重叠。开始的时候，孩子会模仿您说英文的方式，因为他是从您这里得到的大多数英文语言输入。当他们学的'内容越来越多、年龄不断增长、同时也变得更加成熟的时候，当听到以英文为母语的外国人的标准发音的时候，他们就开始模仿外国人的发音，因为此时孩子们能够意识到这种发音方式是正确的。这个时候对他们来说，两只语言桶之间将变得泾渭分明，不再有重叠混淆的领域。

　　所以，我们的首要目标，应该是实现英文表达的流畅度，而非完美程度。让我问您一个问题：您宁愿自己的孩子能够流利的讲英语呢，还是能够准确完美的说英文，但是磕磕巴巴？学习英语，是学习一种技能，而技能的掌握，是在不断的犯错和纠正中获得的。这中间需要很多的练习和指导，而孩子们在沿途沾染一些错误的习惯，也不足为奇。但是，如果他们不从基本的表达技能学起，不开始积极参与这一语言游戏，要做到有朝一日流畅的说英文，是不可能的。
