　　纪梦瑶是我的同桌，她不仅人长得漂亮，而且英语特别好，同学们送给她一个绰号——“英语大王”。

　　几个月前的一天，老师提前通知我们说，下周的一次考试难度较大，提醒大家认真搞好复习，可仍有许多同学我行我素，该玩还玩。成绩下来了，全班同学几乎都考砸了，惟独纪梦瑶考得很好，只错了几个小问题。

　　在我的印象中，每一次考试，纪梦瑶几乎都是第一个写完的，但是她为人很低调，从来都不第一个交卷，总是在好几个人交卷之后才交卷，所以说，如果我不当她的同桌，她的'这个谦虚低调的特点我是很难发现的。

　　她不仅考试好，上课发言也好。不仅举手次数多，发言的质量也是上乘的，经常受到谭老师的表扬。尤其是分角色朗读课文时，她读起来是一气呵成，抑扬顿挫，深受老师和同学们的喜爱。

　　和她同桌快一年了，平时我们交流得很多，但她从来不在我面前表露她是怎么学英语的。我的真不知道，那么多的生词和语法，她是怎么记住的？另外，她的作业也很好，不仅书写工整，而且正确率也高，只有在极少数的情况下才会出现错误，谭老师经常用她的作业当范本，号召全班同学向她学习。

　　有人说女生与男生相比最大的特点是大脑中的“语言中枢”比较发达，但纪梦瑶给我的印象却不是这样，也许她的语言中枢的确发达，但同时，她也把男生玩“子弹车”的时间花在背单词上了，也许这就是“英语大王”成功的“秘诀”吧。
