I'm Thestral, Can you see me.
I'm sick and tired of hearing that. It's silly to say that thestrals can only be seen by those who have actually witnessed death. But it was just my opinion, and then I realized that I was completely wrong, very wrong, very wrong.
Thestrals are neither derogatory nor positive. I have lived long enough to witness The imprisonment and escape of Mr. Grindelwald, to scare the saviors, and to help them go to the Ministry of Magic because of Luna. There are many things that I do not have a specific position or a subjective idea.
I'm just a neutral word -- a phrase I used many times to emphasize and brainwash myself, until I realized during the war that there were more than a few people who could see me. Had they all witnessed death? The answer is obvious.
Before, I wanted people to see me, but now I don't need to. Perhaps giving them a more peaceful life is more important than my self-deception. The wind at Hogwarts was cool, the animals at the edge of the Forest tasted good, and I had lived long enough.
