Glutton for punishment（6）

If he was brave and confident enough he would have told Megatron by now. Even if it would be definitely awkward to death. But he was the proud TIC of Decepticon, his lord wouldn’t simply eliminate him just because of a failed confession, or so said, courtship.

And what could he say?

He was not sure if his loyalty and devotion to his lord could be defined as “love”. No he wouldn’t use this word to describe it since the concept was too shallow to make any sense.

He felt so much more in his spark that he couldn’t express the feelings in words.

“Then is there anything I can do for you?”Megatron asked quietly, his voice was gentle and patient, like he thought he might startle the blue mech, even if this one was just as deadly as himself, a true decepticon.

Soundwave manually set most of his components deactivated and redirected all primary and secondary power to his self-repairing system. So his fans slowed down and his body didn’t shudder any more, although he would look more fragile and a lot weaker than several minutes ago.

He didn’t want to break the physical connection between him and his lord. His servo still laid in the larger mech’s. Megatron hadn’t let it go. That was a good reason for Soundwave to try to push his luck.

Generally speaking, he was treated too well. He had just received his penalty and thought Megatron’s anger would await him afterwards, yet he found himself right in Megatron’s care. Maybe he was not just tolerating him.

Maybe he felt something, or Soundwave hoped so.

“But you look even worse.” Megatron said, in a matter of fact.

“Some energon would be appreciated.” Soundwave replied calmly.

“Maybe you are right.” The larger mech grabbed a cube and got closer. He reached out for his TIC and cuddled him in his arms, supporting him in a sitting position. And then, he tried gently to feed him up.

Nestling against the silver mech’s chest, Soundwave was glad that he had offlined most of his units, so his system wouldn’t arouse again.

He craved the caress and touch from Megatron, although his caress was as innocent as he could ever imagine.
