当你慢慢老去

When you are old and gray and full of sleep,And nodding by the fire,take down this book,

当你老了，头白了，睡思昏沉，炉火边打盹儿，请取下这部诗歌，

And slowly read,and dream of the soft look.Your eyes had once,and of their shadows deep;

慢慢读，回想你过去眼神的柔和，回想它们过去浓重的阴影；

How many loved your moments of glad grace,

多少人爱你年轻欢畅的时候，

And loved your beauty with love false or true;

爱慕你的美貌，出于假意或者真心；

But one man loved the pilgrim soul in you,

只有一个人爱你那朝圣者的灵魂，

And loved the sorrows of your changing face;

爱你已改的容颜痛苦的皱纹。

And bending down beside the glowing bars,

躬身在红光闪耀的炉火旁，

Murmur, a little sadly, how love feld

凄然低语，爱为何消逝，

And paced upon the mountains overhead,

它漫步走上高高山峦，

And hid his face amid a crowd of stars.

将脸庞隐没在了群星间。
