From 1933 to 1938, Major General Jacob was like an indefatigable warrior, always maintaining his passionate fighting spirit. He constantly shuttled from place to place, passionately delivering speech after speech. All his efforts were aimed at defending all the overseas territories of the Netherlands based on his firm viewpoints. He truly exerted unimaginable efforts, tirelessly traveling around and earnestly hoping to win the support of everyone.

You really should have witnessed his fiery passion. Every time he stepped onto that solemn and dignified speech stage, his eyes would sparkle with unwavering and brilliant light, as if containing endless power and determination. When he spoke, every word was filled with unshakable faith, making people feel that the fate of those overseas territories was tightly bound to every word he said. As long as he didn't stop, those territories would have hope and a future.

He tirelessly traveled from one town to another, casting aside all the physical and mental exhaustion and numerous difficulties and obstacles he encountered along the way. He used vivid and highly infectious language to paint a beautiful and hopeful picture. If these territories could receive proper and comprehensive protection and scientific and reasonable development, a prosperous and vibrant scene would surely emerge in the future.

However, this journey was by no means a smooth path paved with flowers and applause. During this long and challenging process, there were those who harbored doubts about his ideas, scrutinizing each of his efforts with skeptical eyes; there were also those who showed indifference and apathy towards his efforts and appeals, as if all of this had nothing to do with them; there were even those who openly stood up and strongly opposed him, attempting to hinder his progress in various ways. But Major General Jacob never had even the slightest thought of giving up. He was like a fearless warrior, bravely facing all the criticisms and challenges head-on, and always firmly believing that as long as he persisted unremittingly and moved people with sincerity and actions, one day, everyone would understand his deep and sincere good intentions and give him full support.

Those years were full of ups and downs for him. Sometimes, he might feel lost and frustrated because of people's misunderstandings; sometimes, he would be elated because of a little progress made. But no matter what kind of difficulties and setbacks he faced, he always held tightly to that unwavering belief in his heart, never showing the slightest wavering or retreat. He has been doing his best to spread his voice in a wider world. For the sake of the overseas territories of the Netherlands receiving due attention, proper protection and reasonable planning, and for obtaining the widespread support from the people that he has been longing for, he has been striving day after day and year after year, never stopping his steps and never extinguishing the passionate flame in his heart.
