Dear General Jacob,

I hope this email finds you in the best of health and spirits. I am writing to update you on my journey and experiences since I left your esteemed residence.

It was back in 1932 when I bade farewell and embarked on a new chapter of my life. I first made my way to Rotterdam, a city that held a charm of its own. The initial days were filled with novelty and exploration. I spent two months there, soaking in the local culture and ambiance.

After those two memorable months in Rotterdam, I felt the call of distant shores and set my sights on the United States. Specifically, I landed in New York, a city that buzzes with life and opportunities. And to this day, I have made it my home.

New York has been a place of countless experiences and growth for me. Every day brings new challenges and joys. I have met diverse people, learned about different perspectives, and expanded my horizons in ways I could have never imagined.

I often think back to the time spent in your service, General Jacob. The wisdom and guidance you imparted have remained a guiding light in my life's journey. I am truly grateful for the opportunity to have been associated with you.
