The Transcript of Lock Yang

After I, Lock Yang, was captured, I feel extremely remorseful and filled with self-reproach for my criminal acts. I find myself in this predicament that is full of shame and guilt.

I come from a disadvantaged background where financial hardships were a constant struggle. The desire to improve the living conditions of my family and myself drove me to make extremely wrong decisions.

The idea of the robbery originated from a state of desperation and a lack of legitimate ways to solve our problems. I mistakenly believed that this criminal act could bring us a way out of poverty and difficulties. But now, I profoundly understand the severity of my mistakes and the harm they have caused.

The process of the crime was meticulously planned. We conducted detailed investigations of the bank's security, staff schedules, and potential weak points. On the fateful day, we disguised ourselves as maintenance workers and managed to enter the bank. Once inside, we aimed to take as much money as possible from the vault.

As for the kidnapping of young Jacob Johnm, the son of Colonel Jacob, it was an impulsive decision made out of panic and fear. When he saw us during the robbery and screamed, we were afraid that our identities would be exposed and we would be immediately caught. In that moment of extreme panic, we made the horrible decision to kidnap him, hoping to use him as a shield or a means to escape.

The total amount we obtained through the robbery was considerable, but every penny is tainted with sin and injustice. Every cent reminds me of the pain and damage I have brought to others and society.

I am deeply sorry for all my actions and the chaos and terror they have caused. I am willing to accept any punishment and do everything in my power to make up for the harm I have inflicted.
