Dear friends and fellow citizens of Dutch Guiana,

On this momentous day of April 9, 1920, I stand before you, Colonel Jacob, with a heart filled with passion and a spirit driven by a noble cause.

Our beloved Dutch Guiana, this land of beauty and promise, is facing a crucial juncture in its history. I come to you today with a message of unity, determination, and unwavering loyalty.

The identity of Dutch Guiana as a Dutch overseas territory is not just a matter of political affiliation; it is a symbol of our shared heritage, our collective achievements, and the values that we hold dear. We must stand firm and resolute in defending this identity.

Our territory has been blessed with rich resources, a diverse culture, and a people known for their hard work and resilience. But we cannot take these blessings for granted. We must actively protect and nurture what makes Dutch Guiana unique.

Let us remember the efforts of those who came before us, who laid the foundation of this land. Their dreams and sacrifices have brought us to where we are today. Now, it is our turn to carry the torch forward.

We must not be swayed by external forces that seek to undermine our identity and our place in the world. We are a part of the Dutch family, and together, we are stronger.

Let us come together, hand in hand, and vow to defend our territory. Let us show the world that the spirit of Dutch Guiana burns bright, that our love for this land is unbreakable.

I am filled with hope and confidence as I look out at your faces. I know that together, we can overcome any challenge that comes our way. Let us rise up, united in our purpose, and ensure that Dutch Guiana remains a proud and integral part of the Dutch overseas territory.
