The shieldmaiden stands her ground to defend the tundra villages from the Nether Empire.
Plot
In a Frostbourne garrison, Lyria reports to Hilda — who commands the outpost — that Hogsworth continues to push the forces of the Nether Empire northwest, further into Frostbourne territory. Lyria suggests Hilda's forces regroup with the main army. However, Hilda proclaims her intentions to stand their ground and defend the villages until reinforcements arrive, telling Lyria a blizzard will soon arrive.

Although Lyria doubts the decision, Hilda rallies her forces with a rousing speech, declaring that the snow biomes have been their home since the "dawn of time" and telling them to face the Nether with courage. She also reveals her plan to strike whilst the Nether is confronted with their weakness — the cold.
Commanders Hilda, Lyria, Agatha, Virmir and Syphion plan in a war room. Kralos gifts the Nether battalion ender pearls looted from Dragonspire. Hogsworth uses the pearls to lead a double-pronged attack: as his forces charge at the Frostbourne, a part of the army will use the pearls to teleport and attack from behind.
The Frostbourne are overwhelmed and Agatha tells Hilda to retreat their forces. Blazes burn the former outpost to ashes. Hogsworth, confident in his victory, orders his forces to follow them.
At a makeshift camp, the remnants of the garrison begin to despair — until the blizzard begins. As Hilda tells her army to gear up and prepare for the upcoming battle, Hogsworth and the Nether Horde approach the camp. Due to the cold, the blazes are eventually killed and the Horde can't see very well due to the storm. Lyria gives a signal for the soldiers and an iron golem to cut down trees, which collapse and then squish the army, killing several pigmen and almost hitting Hogsworth. Frostbourne soldiers, led by Hilda emerged from the storm and clash with the pigmen army. Hilda and Hogsworth duel in the middle of the battleground. Soon reinforcements from the Frostbourne Cavalry arrive, led by Ser Patrick. Hogsworth manages to knock down her helmet down with his shield. Hilda falls on the ground with a wound on her face. Just as he is about to kill her, Lyria suddenly attacks him and knocks him down, disarming his weapons. When he tries to pick his sword, the Frostbourne soldiers surround him and point their spears at him. Seeing that the Frostbourne have won, he surrenders.
