Synopsis
A lone heroine ventures to the floating isles to clear out the Wither Angels camp and fight a battle of attrition against the Nether.
Plot
The episode begins with a meeting between Ser Patrick, Lady Azura, Daryll, Lady Stella, and the Unnamed Bandit. Ser Patrick questions Azura's decision to go to the Floating Isles by herself, asking if she's thought it through. Azura explains that none of them can go with her, as she is the only one with flight tech. Daryll then speaks up, stating that it's too dangerous, and that she underestimates the might of the Nether Horde. She reassures them, stating that they underestimate her, but yet Patrick still retorts by declaring they cannot lose her. Azura tells him that they cannot risk another attack from the Nether, and with a slightly surprised Bandit and Stella watching, Patrick agrees to cautiously let her go.
Azura is next seen outside the Dreadfort, as she takes flight towards the Wither Angel Camp. Ser Patrick and Daryll observe her departure, Ser Patrick wearing a worried gaze. Azura arrives at the Nether Camp, inhabited by Wither Skeletons, Ghasts, and Wither Angels. She makes quick work of the Ghasts and Wither Skeletons, before being pursued by the Wither Angels. She swiftly takes one out with her pistols, then tricks another into crashing into a ravine wall with her agile manoeuvres. She stabs the final one with her blades and rams it and herself into a Nether Portal.
When Azura wakes, she finds herself in the Nether, not far from the portal she had flown through. As she prepares to leave, she is approached by Gigabone, and the two engage in a fight. Azura's pistols prove ineffective against him, causing her to switch to her blades, exploiting his slow speed and cutting off Gigabone's right arm. She then takes out his right eye, before switching back to her pistols to destroy the left one. Gigabone, defeated, collapses into the lava, seemingly dead.
As Azura prepares to leave once again, she looks over at a nearby Nether Fortress, where she sees Rain battling a group of Pigmen. She flies to his aid, defeating two Zombie Pigmen, before the duo are spotted by Naeus. Naeus sends forth countless Wither Skeletons, which Rain prepares to fight, but due to his weakened state, Azura instead fires at the Skeletons. Despite mowing down a few, her guns run out of ammunition, to which she grabs Rain and carries him back to the Overworld, out of the Isles and towards the Dreadfort.
